What this software is for. TowerSS is built for internal use, development and testing by Frost IT Solutions. It is not sold, not distributed publicly, and has no user base beyond its own developers. These terms are published openly alongside our other applications to meet Google's OAuth publishing requirements.
No warranty
TowerSS is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied. It may contain defects, may report inaccurate measurements, and may stop working after an operating system update.
All values are read from the operating system's view of the radio and are only as accurate as the modem reports them. Neighbouring cells appear intermittently because the modem reports them intermittently — an empty list does not mean no other towers are present.
Do not rely on TowerSS for anything safety-related. It is a diagnostic display, not a coverage guarantee or an emergency tool.
Responsible use
Anyone running TowerSS is responsible for doing so lawfully in their jurisdiction. It reads only the radio state of the device it runs on.
Data and accounts
TowerSS stores nothing and transmits nothing. It holds no network permission and uses no Google account or API. Location permission is requested solely because Android gates cell identity behind it; no position is recorded. See the TowerSS privacy policy.
Availability
TowerSS may be changed, broken or withdrawn at any time without notice. No continuity of service is promised.
